We Are Parelli Ohio

Oddly enough, I have multiple people find my blog from googling "Parelli Ohio". To clear things up, I just wanted to to post a link to the group in case anyone needs to find it and clicks on my blog in the future.

If you are doing Parelli in Ohio, I highly recommend becoming a part of the group. I just started it a few months ago, so it has a long way to go. So far, it has been great, though :).

For one, we have REALLY cool shirts.

For two, we are planning on lots of playdays and get-togethers.

For three, it is a great way to network with other parelli people in your area and get connected. I have already met so many fabulous people from the group!

Equine Affaire

WOW! What a weekend! If you didn't know, Equine Affaire ran from Thursday to Sunday and for the first time in years, LINDA PARELLI WAS THERE! It was such an amazing time!

We Are Parelli Ohio!

I went with Melissa and Evan for the entire day on Thursday and Friday. Parelli had a huge booth, stocked with goodies, equipment, and local Parelli Professionals. We were able to hand out our Parelli Ohio shirts and meet so many people! 

Linda had two demonstrations on Thursday: the first about horsenality and the second about humanality. The stars were our local Parelli Professionals, Jesse Peters and Christine Madoni, as well as Mollie Vacco from New York. They were all fabulous, of course, and excellent representations of their horsenalities/humanalities. There were also two demos on Friday, Horsenality/Humanality Match and the Game of Contact! Woo hoo!

When we weren't handing out shirts, drooling over Linda, or spending all of our money, we got to play around a little bit!

With all the demonstrations, fabulous horses and riders, and being star-stuck by Linda, it was a bit of information overload! What a phenomenal few days full of great (like-minded) people, education, and helping make the world a better place for horses and humans!

First Parelli - Ohio Get Together!

Saturday we had out first Parelli - Ohio! get together!! Boy, oh, boy, what fun!

We all met at 2* instructor Laura Beavers' place. She owns a beautiful house, a nice barn, and a great indoor arena! We all met around noon and had a great lunch. We had creamed chicken, chili, fruit salad, chips, cheese, humus, veggies, pound cake, cookies, and an amazing jello dessert! Needless to say, the food was fantastic!

While we munched Laura put in the first DVD of the Game of contact. Now I definitely need to go buy it! What we saw looked really awesome.

We also went over some stuff for the group! We determined we want red shirts that have silver/white writing. We still need to work on some of the design, but I am very excited about getting the group shirts for Equine Affaire and the Tour!!

We planned a few trail rides, but we didn't plan another get together. I am so excited about this group! It was such an amazing time to be around people who are like-minded! We had so many wonderful conversations and it was great to be able to discuss things with people who understand you! I cannot wait for our next get-together!
